Sherika founded AnchorHer to fill a critical gap in support for women in recovery by creating a safe, structured environment grounded in accountability, compassion, and real community
Her vision is to provide a space where women are not only supported, but also challenged to grow, rebuild and move forward with intention. As Founder and Executive Director, Sherika is hands-on, results driven, and committed to creating a recovery environment where women can feel safe, supported and prepared to make meaningful steps forward.
Sherika is SCARR certified and serves as a community naloxone distributor, helping increase access to overdose prevention resources and support within the community.
She believes recovery works best when women are giving real support, clear expectations, and the opportunity to build stability for themselves. Outside of AnchorHer, Sherika is a mother of two, a dog mom, plant mom, and an active volunteer within the community.
She enjoys bringing warmth and life into spaces and creating environments that feel welcoming, grounded, and alive. Her approach is simple: provide real support, hold women accountable. and make every moment in recovery count
