AnchorHer was Founded by Sherika Bull with a heart for helping women rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive, and structured environment
As Founder and Executive Director, Sherika oversees recovery housing operations, resident's accountability, resource coordination, community partnerships, and organizational development.
Her Professional background includes non-profit health care, housing advocacy community outreach, and supporting vulnerable populations. She also serves as a volunteer board member with the Palmetto Housing Assistance and Coalition and remains involved in housing and reentry efforts throughout the upstate. Under Sherika's leadership AnchorHer has earned certification through the South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences (SCARR) and approval as a community distributor of naloxone.
Sherika is a proud mother of two, a dog mom and a passionate plant mom. She understands the importance of creating an environment that feels safe, cared for and truly feel like home.
At the heart of Sherika's leadership is a simple but powerful motto: Do the Work She believes lasting change requires personal responsibilities consistency, and the courage to keep showing up when the work is difficult.
